Q) When is the next Boot Camp?

Q) What is the required uniform for Recruits?
A) The shorts shown below are gray without emblems, team logos or stripes.
They are made of cotton, not mesh. The recruits are also required to wear
a plain white undershirt.
Q) What are the membership requirements?
A) The Young Marines is open to all youth ages 8 through completion of high
school. All youth must be in good standing at school.
Q) How can we join?
A) If you are interested in joining the Manassas Young Marines, we can make
arrangements for you to come in an observe the program. If you decide that
your child wants to join, we can provide you with the proper forms and additional

Q) Is the program open to both boys and girls?
A) Yes. Membership is open to girls and boys.
Q) Are you sponsored by the United States Marine Corps?
A) We are officially sponsored by the Marine Corps League.
Q) Where & when do you meet?
A) Manassas Young Marines meets at Metz Middle School in Manassas. Meetings
are held Wednesday evenings from 18:30-20:45 (6:30PM - 8:45PM).
Q) Are Young Marines required to join the Armed Forces?
A) No. The Young Marines mission is to provide America's youth with unparalleled
opportunities for personal growth. Young Marines may leave the program at
any time.
